Montessori Albums, Lessons, and ManualsNewChildMontessori.com classroom and homeschool curriculum guides: I was VERY impressed when I reviewed their website and product info and sample pages! I think this is a great resource to guide you through your week, month, and season(s)! They are very detailed and yes, they use authentic Montessori! I recommend the $100 deal for all four guides--a bargain (and you can resell them on EBay in a few years!). I have not seen anything else out there like what they offer in these guides! Wow! Read another mom's review of this material after she bought them (based on my recommendation)! http://newchildmontessori.com/birds.html "Bird's Eye View of the Year" by months and seasons with themes!

REVIEW for NewChildMontessori.com classroom and homeschool curriculum guides:
Hi!
I did buy these books. You obviously pay for the information not the construction! They are Kinkos spiral bounds with soft covers. It is unnerving to think I paid $180 and got 5 stacks of photocopies. Shipping was only $5 so that was a plus. After reading them I am glad I bought them. I also bought the Supplement to the Guides since they recommended it for homeschoolers. It is going to help me a lot.... They are very methodical and organized. Having never taught before they will walk me right through everything without me being afraid I am warping my son's mind! My only hang up is going to be trying to modify them for each year after. They give you recommendations but not specific schedules. I am hoping with practice of the first year I will be able to do it. They offer suggestions for replacing some activities with more age apropriate lessons. I do reccommend not to get them until closer to September. They are seasonal and progressive so you don't really want to start summer before fall. They have each day organized and timed. While they say to work according to your schedule/childs interests having the day outlined is going to be great. It is perfect for someone like me!
